Day 1 USA/DELHI:
Welcome aboard your flight to Delhi.
Day 2 DELHI:
Arrive Delhi late night, transfer toThe Park hotel/Qutab
hotel.
Day 3 DELHI:
 Morning at leisure.
Afternoon Combine sightseeing tour of old & New Delhi, that includes drive
past by Rashtrapati Bhavan (the Presidential Palace) and the Secretariat
buildings - the center of Government activity, down the impressive Rajpath (the
main avenue), to the World War I memorial arch, India Gate, the High Court
Building and the Old Fort. Visit Humayun's Tomb built in 1565 AD by his
grieving widow Haji Begum, and the Qutab Minar, 72 meters high and the ruins of Quwat-ul-Eslam (Light of Islam) Mosqu Raj Ghat, where
Mahatma Gandhi the Father of the nation was cremated in 1948. Drive by Red Fort
(closed on Mondays) built of red sandstone dating from the very peak of the
Mogul power. Opposite the fort are the
DAY
4 TAJ MAHAL TOUR:
This
morning fly to Agra to visit Taj Mahal, the most extravagant monument ever
built for love. On the death of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, Mogul Emperor
Shah Jahan built her this memorial over which 20,000 men labored for 22 years
to create a masterpiece in white marble inlaid with semi precious stones; the
art is called pietra dura. Agra Fort where Shah Jahan spent the last years of
his life, imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb. The most impressive part of the Fort
are the Dewan-e-Am, Hall of Public Audience and the Dewan-e-Khas Hall of
Private Audience where he received foreign dignitaries . Fly back to Delhi,

Day 5 DELHI/
KATHMANDU:
Morning tour of Delhi. Afternoon fly to Kathmandu,
transfer to Hotel Annapurna/Yak N Yeti.
Day 6 KATHMANDU:
We begin this day with a morning tour of Kathmandu city,
visiting the Temple of Hanuman, Dhoka Square, The House of the Living Goddess,
the Royal Palace, and the city markets. Afternoon sightseeing in Patan, city of
ancient architecture and fine arts,
renowned for its silver, copper and bronze work. Evening free.

Day 7
Pashupastinath:
Morning is free with an optional (but recommended, not
included) flight-seeing tour of Mt. Everest. Ample time for shopping for
antiques and gifts. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath, with its
panoramic setting as aholiest site in Nepal.
Day 8
KATHMANDU/POKHARA:
Today we'll fly, to Pokhara and transfer through the lush
green valley, over night stay at the famous Fishtail Lodge. Enjoy the local
bazaars and the panoramic mountain ranges.
Day 9 POKHARA/CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK:
Drive to the world famous game preserve
 of Nepal-The Royal Chitwan National Park.
Accommodations are at the Chitwan Jungle Lodge. Game viewing will be aboard
trained elephants. This evening a briefing about the wildlife.
Day 10 CHITWAN:
Safari activities all day aboard elephants and jeeps with
a break for lunch. Game viewing includes Tigers, Wild Boars, Rhinos and more.
 Day 11 CHITWAN
/KATHMANDU/DELHI:
After breakfast, fly back to Kathmandu, and onwards to
Delhi. We'll transfer to Hotel Grand Continental/Taj Palace..
Day 12 DELHI/USA:
Departure for homeward bound, arrive same day afternoon
in NYC, with connections to other US cities.

Day 2 SRINAGAR (Gardens and
Lakes):
Cruise through Dal and Nagin Lakes, float through a
network of canals to the enchanted
Mogul gardens of Nishat and Shalimar; built in the 16th C. by Mogul

Day 3 GULMARG:
Today travel by car to Gulmarg, worlds class resort at
9,500ft.and flanked by Nanga-Parbat, a 28,OOOft.peak. There is horseback riding
to Khilanmarg and a chairlift for an aerial view. Gulmarg features a lovely
golf course-the highest in the world and was a former playground of the
