Day 1 USA/DELHI:
Welcome aboard Jumbo jet
flight to Delhi, enjoy hospitality fit for royalty by silk sari clad hostesses.
Indulge yourself with delicious Indian and Continental cuisine.
Day 2 DELHI:
Late night arrival in Delhi, where after a traditional
Indian Garland welcome you'll be escorted to Hotel Qutab/Connaught
hotel.
Day 3 DELHI:
After breakfast you'll visit the Presidential Palace,
Parliament House, India Gate,
Qutab Minar Tower, Jantar Mantar, the fashionable Connaught Circus. Red Fort,
Chandni Chowk, Mahalaxmi Temple and Mahatma Gandhi Samadhi.
Day 4
DELHI/VARANASI:
After breakfast,
transfer to the airport for your flight to Varanasi. Arrive and transfer to
your hotel. Visit the Bharat Mata Temple, with its map of India carved in
marble, the Durga Temple and the gold-spired temple of Vishwanath. Later, this
afternoon you have a free time to shop for silks and brocades in the
bazaars Hotel Hindustan
Internationall.
Day 5
VARANASI/KHAJURAHO:
Our day begins with a
boat ride on the Ganges River, whose holy waters draw thousands of pilgrims.
This remarkable tour shows the cleansing baths and burning cremation ghats of
Hindu Funeral Rituals. Afternoon flight to Khajuraho, transfer to
Hotel Green
Wood.
DAY 6 KHAJURAHO:
Afer breakfast, we'll visit the Tantric
Temples, among the intricately
designed buildings, with many religious, Kamasutra erotic images are the
Chaunset Yogini Temple of Kali, the Bharatji Temple with it's 11-headed image
of Vishnu and the Vraha Temple of Shiva. Afternoon
free.
Day 7 KHAJURAHO/AGRA:This morning Continue via motor coach to Jhansi via Orchha, board the
Shatabdi Express train for Agra.
Hotel Howard Park Plaza.
Day 8
AGRA: Morning visit to the Taj Mahal the
16th. century monument, built by Emperor Shah Jehan as a mausoleum for his
beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. Continue to Agra Fort, started by Emperor Akbar and
completed by three different Mughal Emperors. Stroll the palaces and Halls of
Public and Private Audiences of the mogul emperors.
Day 9 AGRA/JAIPUR:
Enroute to Jaipur we'll stop at Fatehpur-Sikri, the deserted
sandstone city built by Akbar. This
imperial complex of forts, palaces, mosques and temples was abondoned due to
lack of water resources. This grand complex is a haunting testament to that
glorious era. Hote Park Plaza.
Day 10
JAIPUR:
Morning excursion to Amber Fort, here you will be able to ride on the
back of an elephant to the top of the hill. In the afternoon tour Jaipur
including visits to the observatory of Maharaja Jaisingh and the museum at the
Maharaja City
Palace. Drive past Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, the
architectural marvel of the city.
Day 11
JAIPUR/DELHI:
Drive to Delhi, the majestic capital city of India. Delhi
blends within its folds a great cultural variety of India: an unceasing range
of activities. Day free to explore on your own, great for shopping and
browsing. Hotel Ashok Country Resort.
Day 12 DELHI/USA:
Depart early morning from Delhi for homeward
bound.

Kathmandu Nepal 4 Day Tour

Day 1 DELHI/KATHMANDU:

Arrival reception and transfer to
Hotel Del,Annapurna/Royal Singhi. Time free for stroll around local Kathmandu
to acclimatize to altitude at 6,000ft.
Day 2 KATHMANDU:
After
breakfast, begin the day with morning tour of Kathmandu city, visiting the
Temple of Hanuman, Dhoka Square, The House of the Living Goddess, Royal Palace,
the city markets. Afternoon tour of Patan, a city of ancient architecture, fine
arts, and renowned for its' silver, copper and bronze work. We'll also visit
the Tibetan Handicrafts Center. Evening at leisure. Evening free.
Day 3 KATHMANDU:
Morning is free with an optional
(recommended) flight-seeing tour of Mt. Everest available. Ample time for
shopping for antiques and gifts. This afternoon we'll visit Bhaktapur, the city
of religious devotees built in the shape of shell, visit the Lion Gate, the
Picture Gallery, the Golden Gate and the Palace of Windows.
Day 4 KATHMANDU/DELHI:

Morning free. Afternoon fly to
Delhi, time free for last minute shopping for gifts and prepare for homeward
bound departure.
