Day 1
USA/DELHI:
Welcome aboard your flight to
Delhi.
Day 2 DELHI:
Tonight we'll arrive in Delhi on your way of Bhutan tour,
transfer to Hotel Taj Palace/Claridges Hotel.
Day 3 DELHI:
We have an afternoon sightseeing tour of Delhi visits the
Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, and Old Delhi's

bustling market places. Parliament House,
Presidential Palace and Qutab Minar.
Day 4 DELHI/DARJEELING:
Depart by air to Bagdogra, from here travel by the famous
Darjeeling Toy Train/car, a great scenic journey through exhilarating panoramas
to Darjeeling, the premier resort of the Raj. Hotel Windemere.
Day 5
DARJEELING:
Darjeeling's scenic views, tea
estates and crisp chilly mornings make it a favorite summer retreat.
Sightseeing includes Senchar Lake, Ghoom Monastery, Everest Museum, Geological
Park and the Happy Valley Tea Estates.
Day 6
DARJEELING/GANTOK/RHUMTEK:
A scenic drive takes us to Gantok, capital of Sikkirn.
Sightseeing of this city in the shadow of dazzling Kancehnjunga and the sacred
Sinchulo includes a visit to Rhumtek Monastery and Gantok Bazaar. Hotel
Norkhil.
Day 7 GANTOK/PONTSOLING:
Today we'll drive to Pontsoling,
the border town in Bhutan, transfer to Hotel.
Day 8 PONTSOLING/THIMPU:
On your way to Thimpu, the capital
of Bhutan, built on lands dominated by the 400 yr. old Tashicko Dzong, we shall
visit the Taktsang Monastery also known as Tiger's Nest at 9,000 ft. at the
edge of a precipice and can be reached by horse. Hotel Motithang.
Day 9 THIMPU:
Our day begins with sightseeing of
Thimpu bazaar,
handicrafts center & memorial chorten, followed by
a drive to
Simtokha Dzong, containing 400 yr. old exquisite temples with intricate art
work.
Day 10 THIMPU/PARO:
The route is through densely forested Sinchula Pass.
Rhododendrons, orchids, spectacular waterfalls and mountain peaks rise higher
and higher fill we reach Paro where oak, and rice paddies replace tropical
vegetation. Hotel Olatlang.
Day 11 PARO VALLEY:
Today enjoy the scenic beauty of snow capped peaks and
deep carved landscapes, the main

attraction of
this remote Himalayan Kingdom. We'll stop at various dzongs (monasteries) which
serve as religious centers and administrative offices. Our sightseeing includes
Paro National Museum, 7th. C. Kyichu Laichang Dzong, Drukyul Dzong, which
overlooks the Royal Palace, exquisitely carved & painted windows and
pagoda, roofs.
Day 12 PARO/KATHMANDU:
Today fly to Katmandu, capital of Nepal. You will be
escorted to Hotel Del Annapurnna/Yak N Yeti.
Day 13 KATHMANDU:
We begin this day with a morning tour of Kathmandu city,
visiting the Temple of Hanuman , Dhoka
Square, The House of the Living Goddess, the Royal Palace, and the city
markets. Afternoon sightseeing in Patan, city of ancient architecture and fine
arts,renowned for its silver, copper and bronze work. Evening free.
Day
14 KATHMANDU:
Morning is free with an optional
(but recommended, not included) flight-seeing tour of Mt. Everest. Ample time
for shopping for antiques and gifts. This afternoon we'll visit Bhaktapur, the
city of religious devotees built in the shape of shell, visit the Lion
Gate, the Picture Gallery,
the Golden Gate and the Palace of Windows.
Day 15 KATHMANDU/JAIPUR:
Fly to Jaipur via Delhi, transfer to Hotel Jai Mahal
Palace/Hotel Clark's Amer
Day 16 JAIPUR:
After breakfast, we'll tour a lot
of interesting sights those include the City Palace, Victoria and Albert
Museum, the Jantar Observatory. Today's highlight is our ride aboard decorated
elephants to the Amber Fort.
Day 17 JAIPUR/AGRA:
Enroute to Agra you'll stop at Fatehpur-Sikri, the
deserted sandstone city built by Akbar. This imperial complex of forts,
palaces, mosques
and temples was
short lived and today is a haunting testament to that era.In Agra, you'll visit
the famous Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. Hotel Taj View/Shiraz hotel.
Day 18 AGRA/DELHI:
Optional visit to the Taj Mahal in the early sunrise.
Drive back to Delhi transfer to hotel. As our last day in India, it's time to
pack, shop for last minute gifts and momentos to bring home as Reminders of a
great traveling experience. This Evening enjoy Sound and light show at the Red
Fort.
Day 19 DELHI/USA:
Fly home .
