Day 1 USA/INDIA:
Welcome aboard Air India 747-400 Jumbo jet
flight to Bombay, enjoying hospitality fit for royalty by silk sari clad
hostesses. Indulge yourself with delicious Indian and Continental
cuisine.
Day 2 MUMBAI(Bombay):
Late night arrival in Bombay, where after a
traditional Indian garland welcome you'll be escorted to Hotel Taj
President/Hotel Hilton Towers.
Day 3 MUMBAI(Bombay):
After breakfast depart for a sightseeing
that includes, drive pass by Marine Drive, this winding stretch of road with
tall buildings on one side and sea on the other extends from Nariman Point to
Malabar Hills is the best way to discover Mumbai, Dhobi Ghat, VT Station,
Chowpatty. Gateway of India, it was conceived as a triumphal arch to
commemorate the visit of George V and queen Mary for the Delhi Darbar in 1911,
Mani Bhawan, Presently functioning as a Gandhi memorial, it used to be the
Mumbai residence of Mahatma Gandhi. Ghandi Museum, Hanging Garden, built during
the early 1880s over Mumbai's main reservoir at the top of the Malabar Hills.
Prince of Wales Museum the foundation stone was laid by George V in 1905 during
his visit to India as prince of Wales, Raja Bhai Clock Tower Parsee 'Towers of
Silence' on Malabar Hill. Later this afternoon transfer to pier to embark on
your 4 nights cruise.

Day 4 GOA
Arrive Goa,
land of romantic beaches and palm bordered rivers, former Portuguese colony,
and sun drenched coastline State with miles of beaches against a back drop of
coconut palms, and green rice fields, interlaced with water-ways and the
rivers. Enjoy the peace and quiet, good food, lilting music and endless
beaches.
Day 5 Kadmat Island
(Lakshadeep):
Kadmat Island (Lakshadweep),
India. Kadmat is one of the few islands in Lakshadweep which is open to
tourists, a peaceful retreat of coconut palm groves and a haven for water
sports lovers. The narrow and beautiful shallow lagoons on the east and west
respectively are the ideal spots for leisurely walks and water sports. This
spectacular tropical island is remotely located 220-440 kms off the Malabar
Coast, the islands offer a natural heritage of ecology with its rich maritime
wealth, pristine beaches and lagoons. Adventurers can indulge in scuba diving,
wind surfing and para-sailing. If you prefer, kayaks, pedal boats, sailing
yachts, skiing boats and glass bottom boats are also available for hire.

Day 5 GOA:
We start our half-day sightseeing
tour from the slopes of Altinho Hill for a breathtaking view of Panjim and
river Mandovi. Then to Dona-Paula for a view of India's largest natural
harbour-Mormugao. Afterwards visit old Goa and see the Basillica of Bom Jesus
which contains the tomb & mortal remains of St. Francis Xavierh housed in a
silver ornate casket, built like St. Peter (Rome), Church of Our Lady Rosary
and St. Monica. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 6
MUMBAI/DELHI:
This afternoon arrive Mumbai.
Disembark and meet our representative and transfer to airport for your flight
to Delhi. Upon arriving in
Delhi, we'll transfer to Hotel The Grand/Claridges hotel.
Day 7 DELHI:
After breakfast we have a guided tour of New
Delhi, that includes drive past by Rashtrapati Bhavan (the Presidential Palace)
and the Secretariat buildings - the centre of Government activity, down the
impressive Rajpath (the main avenue), to the World War I memorial arch, India
Gate, the High Court Building and the Old Fort. Visit Humayun's Tomb built in
1565 AD by his grieving widow Haji Begum, and the Qutub Minar, 72 meters high
and the ruins of Quwat-ul-Eslam Mosque.
Day 8 DELHI:
Guided
tour of Old Delhi, visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi the Father of the
nation was cremated in 1948. Drive by Red Fort built of red sandstone dating
from the very peak of the Mughal power. Opposite the fort are the black and
white onion dome and minarets of the Jama Masjid, the most elegant mosque in
India. We'll board tricycle rickshaw for an adventure thru bustling bazaars and
alley ways, that will give you an opportunity to see daily life of regular
folks.
Day 9 DELHI/UDAIPUR:
Fly to one of the most
romantically beautiful cities of India, Udaipur, situated in a natural setting
which include lovely lakes, marble palaces, luxurious gardens and Royal
Temples. Enjoy a cruise on Lake Pichola surrounded by the magnificent sights of
royal palaces and castles. Stay at Hotel Trident/Hotel Fateh Prakash. Udaipur,
has two reasons for pride, the first is that it can trace back its recorded
history to Bapa Rawal ( 728 A.D.). Morning visit City Palace, a majestic
architectural marvel towering over the lake on a hill surrounded by crenulated
walls, it is a conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors and
hanging gardens. The main entrance is through the triple arcade gate, Sahelion
ki Bari or Garden of the Maids of Honor. This garden is laid with extensive
lawns, fountains and shady walking lanes. Drive around Fateh Sagar Lake
excavated in the late 17th century by Maharaja Jai Singh and past the Kala
Mandir (Puppet Museum) and the Cenotaph of Maharana Pratap Jagdish temple,
which is a fine example of Nagari style.
Day 10 UDAIPUR:
Full day to explore the
city. Visit Eklingji temple, carved from marble and even today the Maharana of
Udaipur who is Diwan of the temple, Nagda where exquisitely carved temples,
both Hindu (10th century) and Jain (15th century) are a treat for the eyes, and
Nathwara temple, the highly revered temple to Srinathji, a manifestation of
Lord Krishna.
Day 11
UDAIPUR/JAIPUR:
This morning fly to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur,
transfer to Hotel Mansingh Palace/Hotel Clark's. Day at leisure. Morning half
day tour of city, visit Jai Singh's Observatory built in the 17th century by
the founder of Jaipur who, besides being a prince was also soldier, astronomer
and builder.
This is an architectural feat,
drive past the Hawa Mahal an elaborate building encrusted with delicate
honeycomb screens and carved balconies from behind which the royal harem, could
view the world outside, the City Palace now a museum exhibiting fine Rajput and
Moghul paintings, rare manuscripts and an armory, and explore local
market.
Day 12 JAIPUR:
Morning visit Amber Fort- Just 7 miles north of
Jaipur is Amber with its a honey-colored fortress-palace in the Aravalli Hills.
Enjoy an elephant ride along the fortress ramparts. The sombre exterior belies
the richness of the royal apartments which open on to striking views of the
gorge. Walk into the Sheesh Mahal and admire the amazing interior décor
thought of over 200 years ago. The Hall of Victory presents a galaxy of
decorative art panels of alabaster with fine inlay work.
Day 13 JAIPUR/AGRA:Fatehpur-Sikri
After
breakfast depart and drive to Agra, en route visit Fateh Pur Sikri, an epic
poem in red sandstone, it was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and deserted 14
years later due to lack of water. Legend has it that Akbar who was without a
male heir, made a pilgrimage to this spot to visit the saint Sheikh Salim
Chisti The saint predicted the birth of a male heir and in gratitude, after his
son Jehangir was born, he built Fatehpur Sikri to commemorate the birth. The
Diwan-e- Khas, Hall of Private Audiences has a unique interior design. The
Diwan-e-Am or Hall of Public Audience is an open courtyard surrounded by
cloisters and adjoining it is the Pachisi courtyard arranged like a gigantic
game board, where the Emperor played chess using slave girls as pawns. Check
into hotel Hotel Taj View/ Clark's Shiraz hotel. Afternoon at leisure to relax
or take swim in the pool.

14 AGRA:Taj Mahal and Agra Red Fort
This morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal in the
early sunrise. Taj Mahal, the most extravagant monument ever built for love. On
the death of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, Moghul Emperor Shah Jehan built her
this memorial over which 20,000 men labored for 22 years to create a
masterpiece in white marble inlaid with semi precious stones; the art is called
pietra dura. Agra Fort where Shah Jehan spent the last years of his life,
imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb. The most impressive part of the Fort are the
Dewan-e-Am, Hall of Public Audience and the Dewan-e-Khas Hall of Private
Audience where he received foreign dignitaries. Afternoon drive to Delhi, check
in to our Hotel Le Meridien/Grand. Time free to shop.
DAY 15
DELHI/USA:
Depart early morning from Delhi
for homeward bound. Come home with your mementoes of a great trip and fond
