Golden Monastery, Yangon Day 1-2 LOS ANGELES OR NEW YORK/ BANGKOK:
Welcome aboard your flight to Bangkok: Enjoy the onboard hospitality day 2 cross the dateline.

Day 3 BANGKOK:

This morning arrive in Bangkok, and transfer to Hotel Royal Orchid/Siam City. Free for rest & relaxation. Evening enjoy a Thai dinner and classical dance performance.

Day 4 BANGKOK:

After breakfast at hotel. A drive outside the city to the rural Floating Market at Damnoen Saduak where fresh fruit and produce and all varieties of household Goods are sold at bargains, from small boats and floating platforms. This evening free. (B)

Day 5 BANGKOK/YANGON:British colonial architecture in Rangoon
Thai Airways International flight from Bangkok Arrive at the Yangon International Airport, first leg of our Burma tour. Welcome by our assigned guide and transfer to Hotel Kandawgyi Palace/Equatorial. (B,D)

Day 6 YANGON/BAGAN:
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport and take a flight to Bagan, the Ancient Capital and Birthplace of Myanmar Culture. Morning sightseeing begins with visit to the Nyaung Market; Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupas; Wetkyi-in Gubyakkyi Temple, with fine mural paintings of Jataka scenes; Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carvings and visit lacquer ware factory. Afternoon visit begins with Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek Cross; Thatbyinnyu, the highest of Bagan temples; Mingalarzedi Pagoda; Sunset from a temple and to end the day with Bupaya Pagoda, a Pyu A view of golden stupas by Irrawady Riverstyle pagoda on the banks of majestic Irrawaddy River. Day 7 BAGAN:
Breakfast at the hotel, drive to Pwasaw village, to see daily life style of Pagan people and the ancient Sulamani Temple. This afternoon you'll visit Mingala Zedi, Abeyadana Temple and Ashe Anauk etleik Pagoda, which is famous for 550 Jataka scenes in terracotta plaques. Our final stop is at Lawkanada Pagoda, the landmark pagoda of Pagan for a beautiful sunset. Hotel Thante/Thazin Garden (BLD)

Day 8 BAGAN/MANDALAY:
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport for flight to Mandalay, and the last Capital of Myanmar monarch. Morning excursion to Ancient Capital Amarapura, 11 Kilometers south of Mandalay visiting Mahagandayon monastery 1.2 kilometer long U Bein Wooden Bridge and Monks in que for their once a day mealvisit silk-weaving factory. Hotel Mandalay Swan/Emerald Land. Afternoon visit Maha Muni Buddha Image and handy crafts workshops such as goldsmith, woodcarvings etc. Then proceed to Shwe Kyaung, and end up the day with Mandalay Hill, the vantage point for the view of Mandalay. Day 9 MANDALAY/HEHO:
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for Heho, the Shan State known for its colorful markets, scenery, country sites and especially its people, a mixture of tribal races. Transfer from Heho airport to Pindaya. Excursion of the Shan State. Drive from Pindaya to Inle Lake. Hotel Hupin Khaung Daing Resort/Golden Island. (BLD)

Day 10 INLE LAKE:
Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion of the Inle Lake well{short description of image} known for its scenic beauty and its unique leg rower. Tour highlights include Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda; Ngaphae Chaung typical Shan Monastery of jumping cats; wonderful floating gardens; native method of fishing; traditional weaving villages and village life in the lake. (Please note that the floating market is once every 5 days, but may vary according to the Buddhist Sabbath day. (BLD)

Day 11 INLE/HEHO/YANGON:
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning transfer to Heho airport and return back to Yangon. Afternoon, excursion to Shwe Dagon Pagoda, one of the wonders of the world and the most venerated Buddhist Monument in Myanmar, where one can see the lifestyle of Myanmar People. Afternoon Sule Paya and Yangon City Center. Overnight at Hotel Kandawgyi Palace/Equatorial. (BLD)

Day 12 YANGON /BANGKOK/ HOME:
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning transfer to Yangon International Airport for Bangkok with onwards connection to Homeward bound flight. (B)
