Day 1

to Bangkok: Enjoy the onboard hospitality.
Day 2 BANGKOK:
Arrive in Bangkok, and
transfer to Hotel Amari/Royal Orchid. Free for rest & relaxation. Evening
enjoy a Thai dinner and classical dance performance.
Day 3 BANGKOK:
After breakfast at hotel. A
drive outside the city to the rural Floating Market at Damnoen Saduak where
fresh fruit and produce and all varieties of household Goods are sold at
bargains, from small boats and floating platforms. This evening free. (B) This
evening free.
Day 4
BANGKOK::
After breakfast at hotel.
Enjoy this leisurely canal tour with sights of Temple of Dawn at Wat
Arun.
This magnificient land mark was fashioned
after the Cambodian style Angkor Wat temples. You will also see the
riverside-life as it has been going for centuries. This afternoon
free.
Day 5
BANGKOK/YANGON:
Flight to Rangoon. Arrive at
the Yangon International Airport Welcome by our assigned guide and transfer to
Hotel Kandawgyi Palace/Equatorial. Afternoon, excursion to Shwe Dagon Pagoda,
one of the wonders of the world and the most venerated Buddhist Monument in
Myanmar, where one can see the life-style of Myanmar People.
Day
6 YANGON/ BAGAN:
Breakfast at the hotel,
transfer to airport and take a flight to Bagan, the Ancient Capital and
Birthplace of Myanmar Culture. Morning sight-seeing begins with visit to the
Nyaung Market; Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupas;
Wetkyi-in Gubyakkyi Temple, with fine mural paintings of jataka scenes;
Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carvings and visit lacquer ware
factory. Afternoon visit begins with Ananda Temple, an architectural
masterpiece resembling a Greek Cross; Thatbyinnyu, the highest of Bagan
temples; Mingalarzedi Pagoda; Sunset from a temple and to end the day with
Bupaya Pagoda, a Pyu style pagoda on the brink of majestic Irrawaddy River.
Hotel Thante/Thazin Garden.
Day
7 BAGAN/ MANDALAY:
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport for
flight to Mandalay, and the last Capital of Myanmar monarch. Morning excursion
to Ancient Capital Amarapura, 11 Kilometers south of Mandalay visiting
Mahagandayon monastery 1.2 kilometer long U Bein Wooden Bridge and visit
silk-weaving factory. Hotel Mandalay Swan/Emerald Land. Afternoon visit Maha
Muni Buddha Image and handy crafts workshops such as goldsmith, woodcarvings
etc. Then proceed to Shwe Kyaung, and end up the day with Mandalay Hill, the
vantage point for the view of Mandalay.
Day
8 MANDALAY/MINGUN/SAGAING:
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning excursion to Mingun, a village
on the western bank of Ayeyarwaddy River. Tour highlights include Settawya
Pagoda with a marble foot print of Buddha; Pondawyapaya, nearby the river;
Pahtodawgyi, an enormous pile of bricks is all that remains of King
Bodawpaya's grandiose scheme; Mingun Bell, the world's largest
ringing bell weighing 90 tons; Mingun Village; and Shinbume Pagoda, most
attractive pagoda built in 1816 by King Bodawpaya's grandson in memory of one
of his wives. After coming back from Mingung, visit Sagaing, a retreat for
Buddhist devotees with numerous pagodas and monasteries. Return to
Mandalay.
Day 9 MANDALAY/HEHO:
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for Heho, the
Shan State known for its colorful markets, scenery, country sites and
especially its people, a mixture of tribal races. Transfer from Heho airport to
Pindaya. Excursion of the Shan State. Drive from Pindaya to Inle Lake. Hotel
Hupin Khaung Daing Resort/Golden Island.
Day 10 INLE LAKE:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion of the Inle Lake well known for its scenic beauty and its unique leg
rower. Tour highlights include Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda; Ngaphae Chaung typical
Shan Monastery of jumping cats; wonderful floating gardens; native method of
fishing; traditional weaving villages and village life in the lake. (Please
note that the floating market is once every 5 days, but may vary according to
the Buddhist Sabbath days.)
Day 11 INLE/HEHO:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning transfer to Heho airport and return back to Yangon. Afternoon Sule Paya
and Yangon City Centre or shopping.
Day
12 YANGON /BANGKOK:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning transfer to Yangon International Airport for Myanmar Airways to
Bangkok, transfer to Hotel Royal Orchid. Evening free
for Bangkok style night-life.
Day 13 BANGKOK/NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES:
Breakfast at the hotel. Free until departure. Afternoon
transfer for final flight homeward bound.
