Arrival in Delhi, your first stop of the India fam tour trip, after a traditional Indian garland reception transfer to hotel Park.


Day 3 DELHI/SRINAGAR:2/22 Venice of Asia

Fly to Srinagar, our base-camp for Himalayan wonders. Arrive srinagar and transfer to the houseboat on a prestine lake. surrounded by Himalayan range of Zabarwan hills. After a traditional welcome tea and biscuits, you will board smallYour floating palace in Kashmir boats which resemble Italian Gondolas with canopies andInside houseboat living room spring seats to ride around lakes. Float through a network of canals sail past holy shrine of Hazratbal and visit floating gardens and small villages along the route.

Day 4 DELHI/SRINAGAR/Gulmarg: 2/23

Himalayan paradise
After breakfast, we are out for very scenic drive to Gulmarg offers breath-taking views of majestic Himalayas.

Gulmarg was the premeire holiday spot for British raj and Maharajas ofKashmiri Gondolas in Dal lake, kashmir India. During the early part of the 20th century the famous Central Asian explorer Sir Marc Aurel Stein (1862-1943), made his home here in a tent between his expeditions. It receives heavy snowfall during the winter season and is a popular ski resort. The slopes of the Afarwat Hills of the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalaya Chain boast one of the longest and highest ski slopes in Asia. The total distance covered by ski lifts is five kilometres and the resort peaks at an altitude of 12,959 ft., accessed by an aerial gondola. Gulmarg was being mooted as a possible host for the 2010 Commonwealth Winter Games. As such, Gulmarg has been rated by CNN International as Asia's "heartland of winter sports in India". It wild cat in Dachigam wild life parkis all open for optional activities of riding gondola to to afarwat peak at 13000 ft. Snow-boarding, skiing opportunities for beginners to the most experienced or just for scenic walks along the plowed trails of this magnificient Himalayan heaven. Picnic lunch will be served. Late this afternoon drive back to Srinagar basecamp.

Day 5 Srinagar/Dachigam National Park: 2/24
Wild life, Mogul Gardens and city tour:
We drive to Dachigam National Park is located 22 kilometers Mogul Garden, Kashmirfrom Srinagar, It covers an area of 141 sq. kilometers..The park has been a protected area since 1910, first under the care of the Maharaja of Kashmir and later under the concerned governments. It was upgraded and declared a National Park in1981.Located among the high mountains of the mighty western Himalayas. The variation in altitude is vast, ranging from 5500 ft to 14000 ft above the sea level and the park is demarcated into an upper and lower region, which ranges from gently sloping grasslands to sharp rocky cliffs. Among Animal Species, Hangul, Musk Deer,Leopard, Himalayan Gray Langur,Leopard Cat, Himalayan Bear, Jackal, Hill Fox, Yellow-throated Marten and in Bird Species, Cinnamon Sparrow, Black Bulbul, Himalayan Monal, Golden Oriole, Minivet, Pygmy Owlet, Woodpecker, Babbler, Redstart, Wagtail, Flycatcher, Black-and-Yellow Grosbeak, Himalayan Griffon, Bearded Vulture. Afterwards, you will visit enchanted Mogul gardens of Nishat 'garden of bliss' situated on the banks of the Dal Lake, with the commands a magnificent view of the lake and the snow capped Pir Panjal mountain range which stands far away to the west of the valley. It was built by Mogul Emperor Jahangir, who was the father of the builder of Taj Mahal. Afterwards visit Shalimar"Darbar Khas, Agra Fort the garden of pleasurebuilt by Emperor Jehangir for his wife Nur Jehan, is a beautiful garden with sweeping vistas, lakes, and shallow terraces. The garden has four terraces, rising one above the other. A canal lined with polished marble and supplied with water from Harwan runs through the middle of the garden. The fourth terrace, by far the best, was once reserved for royal ladies. This evening a festive dinner of Kashmir cuisine along with hookah pipe smoking is the event of the evening. Enjoy this Kashmiri tradition brought here by its Persian, Turkish and Central Asian ancestors.

Day 6 Srinagar/DELHI-AGRA: 2/25
Break at your houseboat. Fly to Delhi and drive to Agra,Yak N Yeti Kathmandu home of world famous Taj Mahal, Overnight Hotel Mansigh Palace.

Day 7 AGRA: 2/26 Taj Mahal & Agra Fort
At sunrise visit Taj Mahal, the most extravagant monument ever built for love. On the death of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, Mogul Emperor Shah Jehan built her this memorial over which 20,000 men labored for 22 years to create a masterpiece in white marble inlaid with semi precious stones; the art is called pietra dura. This mesmerizing monument of love will leave you speechless. After breakfast, Agra Fort where Shah Jehan spent the last years of his life, imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb. The most impressive part of the Fort are the Dewan-e-Am, Hall of Public Audience and the Dewan-e-Khas Hall of Private Audience where he receivedcharming foreign dignitaries. This evening at leisure.

Day 8 AGRA/JAIPUR: 2/27Maharaja Tales and palaces
After early breakfast drive to Jaipur. Visit Fatehpur Sikri, an epic poem in red sandstone, it was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and deserted 14 years later due to lack of water. Legend has it that Akbar who was without a male heir, made a pilgrimage to this spot to visit the saint Sheikh Salim Chisti The saint predicted the birth of a male heir and in gratitude, after his son Jehangir was born, he built Fatehpur Sikri to commemorate the birth. The Diwan-e- Khas, Hall of Private Audiences has a unique interior design. The Diwan-e-Am or Hall of Public Audience is an open courtyard surrounded by cloisters and adjoining it is the Pachisi courtyard arranged like a gigantic game board, where the Emperor played chess using slave girls as pawns. Visit Akbara mosque with famous Victory Gate and Salim Chisti Tomb. Arrive jaipur and check in at hotel Mansingh Palace.

Day 9 JAIPUR: 2/28
After breakfast, departure to Amber in the Arravali hills, we'll Elepehant ride to Amer castletravel in the Maharajah style aboard decorated elephants to the Amber Palace. Sightseeing includes sensual Sheesh Mahal, Marble palace and Vijay Temple, which are marvelous examples of Rajput architecture. This afternoon free for Stroll around Jaipur bazaars.

Day 10 Jaipur/DELHI: 2/29
Breakfast at your hotel . drive to Delhi. Sightseeing in Old Delhi takes us through Chandni Chowk, the bustling bazaar, Jama Masjid, the oldest and largest Mosque in India, Mahatma Gandhi's memorial and return via Connaught Circus. Afternoon sightseeing of New Delhi includes Jantar Mantar, Birla Temple, Qutab Minar Tower, India Gate and Raj Path. Time free for last minute shopping etc. Evening transfer to airport.

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning is free with an optional (recommended, not included) flight-seeing tour of Mt. Everest available on request. Afternoon tour of Patan, a city of ancient architecture, fine arts, and renowned for its' silver, copper and bronze work. We'll also visit the Tibetan Handicrafts Center. Evening at leisure.
