Day I NEW YORK/DELHI:

Welcome aboard Air India jumbo jet flight to Delhi, enjoy the onboardl hospitality with meals and beverages included.

Day 2 DELHI:

Upon arrival at International Airport, after immigration and customs clearance, a traditional welcome & transfer to The Park hotel.

Day 3 DELHI-AGRA:welcome to india

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning enjoy a tour of Delhi, an ancient historical city. Visit the Memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, view the Jama Masjid, largest mosque, and the Red Fort. We'll also see the Birla Temple, the India Gate, the Parliament House and the Presidential Palace. This afternoon we are off to Agra, with a stop for refreshment and to visit the local artisans demonstrating their creations. Overnight Hotel Mansigh Palace in Agra.

Day 4 AGRA-Taj Mahal:
Sheesh Mahal
At sunrise visit Taj Mahal, the most extravagant monument ever built for love. On the death of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, Mogul Emperor Shah Jehan built her this memorial over which 20,000 men labored for 22 years to create a masterpiece in white marble inlaid with semi precious stones; the art is called pietra dura. This afternoon Visit to Agra Fort where Shah Jehan spent the last years of his life, imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb. Special features of Agra Fort besides its individual Palace of Prince and Princes' are Dewan-e-Khas Hall of Private Audience, where the Emperor received foreign dignitaries The Diwan-e- Khas, Hall of Private Audiences has a unique interior design. The Diwan-e-Am or Hall of Public Audience is an open courtyard surrounded by cloisters land adjoining it is the Pachisi courtyard arranged like a gigantic game board, where the Emperor played chess using slave girls as pawns. The interior designs and cooling systems of the Palaces and Dewans are so impressive that it is hard not to be amazed. A must see!

Day 5 JAIPUR:Delhi Red Fort
After breakfast, on your way to Jaipur you'll stop at Fatehpur-Sikri, the deserted Sandstone City built by King Akbar. This imperial complex of forts, palaces, mosques and temples was short lived and today is a haunting testament to that era. . Here you will view the Bulund Darwaza, which is said to be the tallest gateway in the world. Explore the well-preserved buildings of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, including the Panch Mahal Palace and the white marble tomb of the famous Sufi saint - Shaik Salim Chishti. Continue to Pink City of India, Jaipur. The entire city was painted its unique pink color in 1876 to celebrate the visiting Prince of Wales, which became to represent the welcoming hospitality of Jaipur.Hotel Mansingh Palace

Day 6 JAIPUR/DELHI:
This morning after breakfast, visit Amber Fort AMBER - JustRiding to Amber Fort 7 miles north of Jaipur is Amber with its a honey-colored fortress-palace in the Aravalli Hills. Enjoy an elephant ride along the fortress ramparts. The sombre exterior belies the richness of the royal apartments which open on to striking views of the gorge. Walk into the Sheesh Mahal and admire the amazing interior décor thought of over 200 years ago. Afterwards visit Jai Singh's Observatory built in the 17th century by the founder of Jaipur who, besides being a prince was also soldier, astronomer and builder. This is an architectural feat, drive past the Hawa Mahal an elaborate building encrusted with delicate honeycomb screens and carved balconies from behind which the royal Zanana, could view the world outside, the City Palace now a museum exhibiting fine Rajput and Moghul paintings, rare manuscripts and an armory. Time for shopping for gems, jewelry and ornate home and fashion items that Jaipur is famous for. Drive to Delhi. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner, following which we'll transfer to airport for homeward bound flight.

Day 7 India/USA:
Midnight flight from Delhi brings us back to New York early this morning.
