Day I NEW YORK/DELHI:
Welcome aboard your flight to Delhi. Enjoy the
regal hospitality by silk sari clad hostesses. Indulge yourself with delicious
Indian and Continental cuisine. A great beginging of your India tour.

Day 2
DELHI:
This evening arrive in Delhi, where you'll be
received and escorted to Park Hotel/The Grand hotel.
Day 3 DELHI:
Morning at leisure. Afternoon tour includes,
the Presidential-Palace, Parliament House, India Gate, Qutab Minar Tower,
Jantar Mantar, the fashionable Connaught Circus. Red Fort, Chandni Chowk,
Mahalaxmi Temple and Mahatma Gandhi Samadhi. Evening free.
Day 4 DELHI/UDAIPUR:

After breakfast, Fly to one of the most romantically beautiful
cities of India, Udaipur, situated in a natural setting which include lovely
lakes, marble palaces, luxurious gardens and Royal Temples. Enjoy a cruise on
Lake Pichola surrounded by the magnificent sights of royal palaces and castles.
Stay at the Fateh Prakash Palace/Shiv Niwas Palace.
Day 5
UDAIPUR:
Morning
sight-seeing tour includes City Palace built in 1725, Moti Mahal, Palace
ofKrishna, Jagdish Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Saheliyon Ki
Bari, The gardens of Royal Harems consisting of beautifullawns, gardens
and fountains.
Day 6
UDAIPUR/JODHPUR: 
Drive to
Jodhpur which stands at the entrance to the Thar Desert, the fortified city
whose foundations were laid in 1459. On top of a rocky hill stands the majestic
Mehrangarh Fort, once considered invincible. The palaces within are noted for
their lattice work in red sandstone. The lakes and the temples add to the
beauty and grandeur of the Jodhpur. Other attractions of this desert city are
the Jaswant Thada, a marble memorial built in 1899 and Umaid Bhawan Palace. The old city is surrounded by a wall and Golden

Day 7 JODHPUR:
Fullday sightseeing of Jodhpur city and desert.
Day 8
JODHPUR/JAIPUR:
Drive to
Jaipur, transfer to Hotel Mansingh Palace/Hotel Trident. Afternoon sightseeing
includes The City Palace, Albert Museum, Jantar Mantar and the Observatory. For
this evening, we recommend a rickshaw drive around the city displaying local
life-style in the ancient biblical way.
Day 9 JAIPUR:
After breakfast, travel in the style of Emperor
Akbar to the
Amber Fort atop festive Indian Elephants. Here you will see Devan-i-Khas , the Royal Court, Devan-i-Aam, the
hall o public audience, Shhesha Mahal, the mirror Palace and the private palace
of the the king and his family. Time free for shopping for jewelry that jaipur
is famous for.
Day 10 JAIPUR/AGRA:
Enroute our drive to Agra we'll stop at Fatehpur-Sikri, the deserted
sandstone city built by Akbar. This imperial complex of forts, palaces, mosques
and temples was short lived and today is a haunting testament to that era.

Day 11 AGRA
This morning
visit the world famous Taj Mahal in the early sunrise. Enjoy the architectural
wonder and awe inspiring monument of love. Following the Taj Mahal visit, we'll
head to Agra Red Fort, where Emperor Shah Jahan, Spent his last days gazing at
his monument. Red Fort is a treasure trove of historical events from Mogul and
British Raj. Great stories, fascinating palaces and architectural
wonders.
Day 12 AGRA/KHAJURAHO:
After breakfast aboard Shatabdi Express we head
towards Jhansi, where we'll drive to Khajuraho. Enroute sightseeing will
include Orcha, a medieval city founded by Bundela rulers with palaces and
temples of the 16th and 17th. century, which have remarkably withstood the
onslaught of time. The city is picturesquely flanked by the river Betwa. Arrive
Khajuraho and transfer to Hotel Taj Chendela/Holiday Inn.

13 KHAJURAHO/SANCHI/BHOPAL:
This morning we'll visit the Tantric and Jain
Erotic Temples. You will be amazed by the erotic intricately carved poses
sculptured by the religious devotees, which
cover the shrines. This
afternoon you will be visiting the Bhimbetka and Sanchi stupas. Sanchi is 46
kms north east of Bhopal. It is unique for having the most perfect and well
preserved Buddhist stupas. The remains of Buddhist saints Sariputra and
Mahamodgilya are also preserved here. Bhimbetka is a World Heritage Site and is
situated south of Bhopal. This is the site of the second oldest cave paintings
in the World. The location is beautiful, along the Satpura range of mountains.
The area around the caves is forested, which adds to the natural beauty. The
Bhimbetka rock shelters exhibit the earliest traces of human life in India; its
Stone Age rock paintings are approximately 9,000 years old, making them among
the worlds oldest. You will be staying at a 19th century Palace, Jehan Numa nestled on
the slopes of Shamla Hill is set in five acres of lush green lawns and splashes
of colorful bougainvillea. The Palace is a superb example of a medley of
British Colonial, Italian Renaissance and Classical Greek Architecture. The
gleaming white façade has boldness and simplicity of style that is
striking and exudes an air of time-less graciousness. In the year 2000 the
Palace was classified as a Heritage Grand Hotel to be the first of its kind in
Central India. Luxurious rooms and all amenities befitting a hotel of its
stature in India.
Day 14 BHOPAL/DELHI:
Breakfast at the hotel. Bhopal, the City of Lakes
because of the two beautiful lakes. The origin of the city dates back to the
eleventh century when Raja Bhoj founded the Bhojpal City. However the Bhopal of
today was built during the eighteenth century by Dost Mohammed. Indira Gandhi
Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (National Museum of Mankind) is a unique museum
situated on a prehistoric site and the only museum in the world scattered with
numerous prehistoric painted rock shelters. The cultural diversity and religion
of India's tribes is highlighted in the museum. Tribal Habitat is an open-air
exhibit; an entire fishing village has been replicated featuring Coastal
Village with a Kerala snake boat, Desert Village from Rajasthan as well as a
Himalayan Village. The museum is created in about 80 hectares of undulating
land on the bank of upper lake. Gauhar Mahal, one of the first buildings built
by the nawabs of Bhopal in 1816, is a magnificent expression of the fusion of
Hindu and Mugal architecture. Gauhar Mahal is situated behind Shaukat Mahal on
the banks of the Upper Lake. It is an architectural gem built by Kudsia Begum,
also known as Gohar Begum. This evening we will conclude the tour with a visit
to Chowk bazaar, lined with old mosques and havelis, reminders of a bygone era.
The shops in its narrow alleys are treasure troves of traditional Bhopal
crafts: silver jewelry, exquisitely fashioned beadwork, embroidered and
sequined velvet works. Transfer to airport for
flight to Delhi with onwards connection for homeward bound
flight.
