Day 2 Bangkok:
Arrival in Bangkok, Meeting service at the
airport and transfer to Hotel Sofitel Silom/deluxe room in BANGKOK.
Day 3 Bangkok/Siem Reap
:
This morning's tour of Bangkok
concentrates on the great showcase, the Grand Palace. Stroll the sprawling
courtyards and visit the reception rooms of the royal residence, a gem of Thai
architecture. View the Funeral Palace, Reception Palace, Throne Hall,
Coronation Hall, Royal Guest House, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple.
This afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap
(Cambodia), site of the temples of Angkor Wat. Upon arrival, transfer to your
hotel. Overnight at Princess Angkor hotel in SIEM REAP (B).
Day 4 Siem Reap:
Today, visit Angkor Thom, the 12th Century
fortified royal city with five monumental gates encircled by a moat. Inside the
walled city, visit the most important monuments including the Bayon Temple,
Baphuon, Phimenakas, the Terrace of Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper
King. Visit Angkor Wat, the temple dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu and world
famous for its beauty and splendor. Dinner this evening at a local restaurant.

Day 5 Siem Reap:
Today begins with sunrise at Angkor Wat. Visit
Thommanon Temple, Chau Say Tevoda, Ta Keo, and Ta Prohm which remains in a
jungle setting. Continue to the 12th Century Buddhist Banteay Kdei Temple, Srah
Srang, the five towers of Prasat Kravan and Preah Khan. Enjoy a boat ride on
Tonle Sap to explore the lake's fishing villages including the Chong Kneas
floating village. This evening, dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at
Princess Angkor hotel SIEM REAP. (B, L, D)
Day 6 Siem Reap - Saigon
:
This morning, transfer to the
airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh, formerly known as Saigon. Upon arrival,
transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight at Grand
hotel/Standard room in HO CHI MINH. (B)
Day 7 Saigon:
This morning, a tour of Ho Chi Minh includes
Notre Dame Cathedral, the French-style Central Post Office, City Hall, Opera
House, Jade Emperor Pagoda, the former Presidential Palace, and the War Museum.
Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Ben Thanh Market, one of the bustling city
markets. Continue to the Giac Lam Pagoda, then visit Cholon and Thien Hau
Pagoda. Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at Grand
hotel/Standard room in HO CHI MINH. (B, L, D)

Day 8 Cu Chi - Tay Ninh:
Today, drive to Cu Chi province. Discover more
than 125 miles of underground tunnels built by the Vietcong, comprising a main
axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and
other tunnels. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to visit Tay Ninh,
headquarters of the Caodism religion and home to the Caodai Great Temple HO CHI
MINH. (B, L)
Day 9 Saigon -
Hue:
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Hue, the former royal city
of the 13 ruling Nguyen dynasties. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. This
afternoon, tour the old Imperial City located in the Citadel including Ngo Mon
Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, the Halls of the Mandarins and the ruins of the
Forbidden Purple City. Finally, a visit to the Dong Ba Market Overnight at
Morin hotel/superior room in HUE. (B, D)

Day 10 Hue:
Enjoy a boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien
Mu Pagoda and the Tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, the most impressive of Hue's
pagodas and tombs. Continue to visit the royal Tu Duc Tomb, set among forested
hills and lakes, and then Khai Dinh, last monument of the Nguyen dynasty
Overnight at Morin hotel/superior room in HUE. (B, L)
Day 11 Hue - Danang - Hoi
An:Journey today over the Hai Van
Pass with spectacular views, via Lang Co and Danang to the charming historic
city of Hoi An. Balance of the day is at leisure. Overnight at Hoi An Beach
resort HOI AN. (B, D)
Day 12 Hoi An:
Hoi An was one of the major trading
centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th Century. Today begins with a visit to the
Cham Museum, with artifacts dating to the 4th Century. Continue to visit China
Beach and the Marble Mountains, with their beautiful grottoes and temples,
which can be reached by climbing steep steps. Return to Hoi An Overnight at Hoi
An Beach resort in HOI AN. (B, L)
Day 13 Hoi An:
This morning, tour the historic merchant and
community houses, places of worship, and famous bridges of Hoi An during a
leisurely walking tour and by cyclo. Visit Quan Cong Temple, Quang Dong Pagoda,
Phuoc Kien Pagoda, the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Tran Family Chapel, Sa
Huynh Museum and Phung Hung House. Lunch at a local restaurant. Balance of the
day at leisure Overnight at Hoi An Beach resort in HOI AN. (B, L)
Day 14 Hoi An - Danang - Hanoi :
Transfer to the Danang airport for your flight
to Hanoi, Capital of Vietnam. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Balance of the
day at leisure. Overnight at Sunway hotel/Superior room HANOI. (B)
DAY 15 Fri HanoiA full day of sightseeing in Hanoi includes the One
Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, and
the Old Quarter. View Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and the Opera House. Lunch at a
local restaurant. Continue to visit St. Joseph Cathedral and Bao Tang Lich, the
Museum of Ethnology. Dinner tonight at a typical local restaurant. Overnight at
Sunway hotel/Superior room in HANOI. (B, L, D)
DAY 16 Halong: This morning, drive to Halong and discover Halong Bay, listed as a
World Heritage Site of outstanding natural beauty. "Dragon descending to
the sea," as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more
than 1,000 limestone islets from the sea, many of them containing beautiful
grottoes. Enjoy a relaxing four-hour boat trip through Halong Bay including a
visit to one of the caves at Hang Dau Go, Bo Nau or Thien Cung. Return to
Hanoi. Overnight at Sunway hotel/Superior room. (B,

DAY 17 HANOI/USA: Departure transfer to the airport for homeward bound flight.
